Sierra Advantage's Fixed Wireless Broadband Internet service offers the best
overall value in terms of performance, features, and reliability. It should be considered as
the first choice of Internet service, where available, even when alternative high-speed services
are an option.
Sierra Advantage currently serves the areas of western El Dorado County
depicted in the map, below, with its high-speed wireless Internet solutions. If you are
located within the coverage areas shown, you may already pre-qualify for service. Because
actual qualification depends upon a number of factors such as topography and forest coverage,
it requires a visual on-site survey that we perform at no charge, usually within one business
day. It is best if you have "line of sight" visibility from your location to one of our
many repeater sites, which are located strategically throughout the region. If standard
qualification is not possible then we will discuss possible alternatives and timetables
for bringing our high-speed service to your location.
We are continually expanding our service areas, so if you don't reside
within one of the areas depicted below, keep checking back for updates to the map - or call
and inquire about our expansion timeline. If our service is not currently available in your
area, and you need service now, we may be able to custom-engineer a link to your area.
Pricing for such custom deployments is on a case-by-case basis.
